Anyone know how to remove the interior of the door without breaking anything? I want to replace the door latch and window motor

Before you start go buy extra clips. You'll break several. I've done the job on my A4 it's pretty straigh forward.

Check Audi forums. Theres a barrier seal which you dont want to break. Its also really good to have plastic trim removal tools.

It’s not brilliant but if it’s as easy as they said then I guess it’s OK. I see you got it off.

Can I remove them? Yes. Can I do it without ever damaging anything? Never once in my life.

This is good advice, even for older cars. You WILL break clips, especially if it is to save the door card.

i had it back 100% but forgot to reconnect the interior door handel to the release mechanism. Slipped the door card off, hooked it up and broke where the screw goes thru the door card.
